The Culture Shock collections are hand crafted by Tibetan aratisans in the age old tradition of cottage industry. All designs are created in-house to bring the buyer unique styles and exceptional quality. The company is eco-friendly and does not use materials such as coral or ivory that result in harm to any animal or protected species.
As a fair trade company, Culture Shock embraces micro-economics by creating a livelihood for Tibetan artisans living in India. "We make every effort to ensure that the Tibetan artisans work in a safe, healthy and pleasant environnent earning more than those in similar work."
