Decor -- Crosses
We have a collection of different crosses....some wooden, metal, and cactus-wood.
The Cholla Cactus crosses are handcrafted in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. This variety of cactus grows in the high desert regions of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Each piece is unique with no two alike. When the cactus dies from lightning, age or freezing, the dead Cholla deteriorates, which can take years to complete. When decayed, an inner skeleton is revealed, the wood of these ribs will last indefinitely. Each piece is stained or hand painted and decorated with stones, beads and jewels to highlight the character and rustic beauty. "Through this art may the dead Cholla live on."
